Today’s session was performed after an 18 hour food-fast, no session fluid breaks, no session carb breaks, just keep spinning the cranks. This kind of training is as much psychological as it is physical, the experience is vital for maintaining the ‘can-do’ attitude when the going gets tough. Your mind and body have been there, you know you can finish, you’ve done it before.
