A quick reminder that discounted registration fees end on Sunday 27th
June as it will be six weeks until the Goodwood Roller Marathon 2010!

If you haven't yet registered then please *register and pay* in the
next week, to take advantage of the discounted rates!

A big thank you if you have already signed up. We hope you are
looking forward to the event and doing lots of training :-)

We need to give you advanced warning, dogs will no longer be allowed
at our event, this is due to a small number of people not clearing up
after their pets in previous years. We are sorry that a few can spoil
things for others but hope you understand.

You can see from the starters list on the website the variety of
people and wheel styles that have already registered. Are your
friends, team or family taking part?

Did you know, of the people currently signed up...
- 54% are female.
- 62% have never taken part in the Goodwood Roller Marathon before.
- 56% are entered into the Full Marathon.
- 42% are doing it in quad skates.
- 4% are doing it on a longboard.

Our event already looks to break all our previous records, including
of course how much money we raise for the NSPCC :-)

Thank you to everyone that has already registered. We look forward to
seeing you on the day.

Regards, The Organisers

Despite the fact there are more female skaters than male going, I'm still not tempted. The last half marathon I did damn near killed me, plus I got told off for jumping the time beacon and slaloming parts of the circuit..... guess I was not taking it very serious ;)
