Sit on the anaerobic threshold, just shy of moving into lactic acid muscle failure - crank the power up the rolling hills, use the descents for a little recovery - maintain discipline for around 15 minutes and a PR may just come my way.
That was the script - that's what the legs had agreed on - time to effect the plan.
